Sieving and treating wheat seeds by the General Organization for Seed Multiplication in the liberated areas in preparation for the 2017-2018 season

In preparation for the start of distributing sieved and treated wheat seeds to farmers at the beginning of the next month, the branches of the Institution – distributed in all the liberated areas – are continuing to perform the sieving and treating operations of wheat seeds produced by the contractor farmers’ fields for the 2016-2017 season. It is worth mentioning that all the wheat varieties provided by the Institution are local varieties, and adapted to the prevailing climatic conditions in Syria.
